I began my career at Japan’s top salon, spending over 10 years perfecting my style. I later moved to Los Angeles, to become a stylist in Beverly Hills; my work has been featured in top publications such as Vogue and Elle. All of my experiences & influences come together to create a beautifully balanced service every time.
When not at the salon, I enjoy travel, blogging, photography, and spending time with my husband and son.

I live for my Cali, beach vibe and for the Lifestyle that comes with. I enjoy driving with the top off my jeep, going to the beach and upbeat house music.
I tailor the service for my client based on their needs. Taking time to listen is the key to a great service! Craftsmanship takes time so, it’s important for my client to have trust and ease during the process. There are enough life stressors and get your hair done shouldn’t be one.

As a creative growing up south of Los Angeles, I knew early on that I wanted to help others discover and express their true selves through their hair– it's my passion. Inspired by film, music, pop culture and the creativity of fellow artists, I'm constantly learning and evolving to ensure I deliver nothing but the best.

I live for layered haircuts and lived-in, dimensional color. Nothing beats a timeless look, tbh.
Besides doing hair, I'm passionate about thrifting, going to flea markets, and shopping second hand for clothes! Music is another big part of my life, I’ll spend hours making new playlists to share with my friends— some of my favorite artists are MF DOOM, Pharrell, Westside Gunn, & Kanye West — but I really love discovering new artists as well! I hope to see you in my chair!

Beyond the chair I loveee spending my free time at the beach soaking up the sun, or catching a pretty sunset. You’ll also catch me at concerts and festivals livin' life. I spend as much time with my family as possible. They are definitely a big part of my life, and my strongest support system I wouldn’t be where I am without them. I can’t wait to meet and learn more about you!

Hola! I'm Luisa - a So Cal native, wife, mom and the proud owner of Peroxide Hair Salon in Hermosa Beach, CA!
I've been in the beauty industry since 2008, and honestly, I love every bit of it. There’s nothing better than connecting with people and helping them feel amazing when they leave my chair. Whether you’re looking for a fresh cut, new color, smoothing treatment, or something to enhance your curls, I’m here to make sure you leave feeling like your best self—it's like a drug to me.
I’m also super passionate about mentoring other stylists. At Peroxide, I help up-and-coming hairstylists grow their skills and confidence so they can thrive as independent professionals. Watching them succeed is one of my favorite things about this journey. Interested in joining? Go here.
Peroxide is my baby, and I’m so proud of what it’s become. It’s been a lot of hard work (and maybe a few tears), but it’s all been so worth it. When I’m not at the salon, I’m soaking up time with my family, kids, friends, and, of course, my doggos.
